a monastery of rose bearers, love dwellers, and practicers of paradise
a remembrance of the sensitivity of children & our need for magic and love
in practice, numewo anj is a beloved cohort that hosts space for those interested in sustaining a communal lunar practice. given that the moon plays in the realm of somatics and un/sub-consciousness, this offering relies on poetry as our main mode of communicating our experience of the cycles. members are asked to commit to exploring, at minimum, 3 lunar cycles together. we meet virtually every new moon and check-in throughout the cycle through a shared group chat.

the first cohort is currently being hosted from the leo new moon lunation in early august 2024 to the libra new moon lunation in october 2024. the cohort is small, hosting 6-7 members. sign up for the current session ended july 20th 2024.
*this offering is free to participate in, however, it requires your time, energy, and commitment. this is not a workshop or class. though, an interest in and basic fluency with astrology is helpful.

we meet, at minimum, once a month to wander, saunter, flanenn nan lari a, people watch, plant watch, sky watch, listen, observe, laugh, enjoy, and write haikus on our journeys.
we pick a random starting point then explore from there, stopping to rest, eat (snacks encouraged), and write several times along the way.

attending to those in the communal body who are in need of more attention, care & love through wealth redistribution.
inspired by the mr.pants grant for queer haitian-american artists in boston (which ended after two years due to lack of funding), the black visioning group, creative study’s exploration of guaranteed income, and resource generation, amedzofe house works to create basic income for queer haitian artists specifically through long-term & consistent wealth redistribution.
